Finfod calculators are for learning. They are estimates from the numbers you type in. Finfod is not a chartered accountant, a SEBI-registered adviser, or a bank. Check the result with a qualified person before you file a return, take a loan, or buy a home.
Tax
The tax calculator covers a resident individual under 60, for FY 2026-27 and FY 2025-26, using the slabs and rebate described on the tool page. It does not prepare your return. It skips special cases such as capital gains inside your salary, perquisites, and the higher basic exemption for senior citizens. A chartered accountant should check anything you file.
Loans and property
EMI, appreciation, rent growth, and mutual-fund returns are assumptions you can change. Past returns are not a promise of future returns. Stamp duty differs by state. The default on the rent versus buy tool is a planning figure, not your city’s rate.
